How to play
BOTOLATEAM?

From creating your account to your first matchday: discover how to build and manage your BOTOLATEAM squad. This public guide explains the journey; the game remains in private access.

01. Create and activate your account

The game is currently restricted to authorised users. After the private access screen, registration asks for your surname, first name, city, country, email and mobile number. Confirm the activation link sent by email. You can edit your mobile number in My Account; your name, city and country are locked after registration.

02. Choose your club and squad

Choose your favourite club and name your team. Build a 15-player squad with a virtual budget of 100 million MAD and no more than 3 players per club. Auto Pick can suggest your first squad.

03. Prepare your starting eleven

In My Team, arrange your formation, select starters and order your bench. Name a captain and vice-captain. Check the displayed deadline before finalising your decisions.

04. Manage transfers

Use Transfers to adjust your squad. Check your available budget, displayed prices, free transfers and any points deductions before confirming. Player prices may change during the season.

05. Follow points and rankings

My Points explains your team’s contributions. Rankings lets you compare your progress with other managers. Results remain provisional until the matchday’s matches and data are finalised.

06. Find your friends

In Private Leagues, create a league or join one with a code. Matches and Botola Standings help you follow the championship. My Space brings together tracking features and available challenges.

07. Protect your account

Use a personal password. You can enable optional two-factor authentication in My Account → Security, then keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.

Your first squad: a practical approach

Start by reviewing the available positions and player prices. Spread your budget across the team rather than picking only your favourite forwards. Check the limit of 3 players per club, then prepare your starting eleven.

Compare the permitted formations with your squad. Select your starters, captain and a different vice-captain, then organise your bench. Auto Pick can help with the initial selection; review its suggestions before continuing.

Before the deadline: your checklist

  • A valid squad within budget.
  • A permitted formation with 11 starters selected.
  • A captain, vice-captain and prepared bench.
  • Transfers and any points deductions checked.
  • The in-game deadline checked.

After the deadline, follow the matchday in My Points. A live score is not a final result: statistical corrections can change points. Then prepare the next matchday using the available information.
